Shaz gained a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Science with an Honours in Neuroscience from the University of Edinburgh. After which, she embarked on 3 years of extensive training at the renowned Institute for Optimum Nutrition, qualifying a Nutritionist.
Shaz is a proud member of the two leading governing bodies for nutrition and complementary healthcare; the British Association for Nutrition and Lifestyle Medicine (BANT) and the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC).
Since covering Reproductive Biology at University, Shaz has had a passion for women’s health. This continued throughout her studies to become a nutritionist and has resulted in her specialising in Women’s Health Nutrition.
Shaz is dedicated to her practice and committed to extending her knowledge, she does this by keeping up to date with the latest scientific research involved in nutritional science. In doing so she undertakes self-directed and externally mediated continuous professional development (CPD) alongside her expanding private practice.
Shaz is an experienced nutritionist, who provides individualised advice to her clients, combining her qualified approach to nutrition with total dedication to her clients’ needs. Shaz works by identifying underlying causes rather than masking the symptoms.
