Sally Feeney is a Consultant Podiatric Surgeon at West Middlesex University Hospital and an elected committee member on The Faculty Podiatric Surgery. She is a registered tutor and holds the position of National tutor co-ordinator on the Faculty board. Sally is involved in the teaching and training of students and enjoy mentoring podiatrists through their passport to surgical training and injection therapy courses.
Sally achieved her fellowship in 2003 and was appointed into her current post in 2006. In parallel, she completed a Masters in public health specifically to build upon her research skills and to gain a better understanding and appreciation of the public health sector. Sally works within an acute trust, which facilitates good professional relationships with other specialties. Her scope of practice ranges from the forefoot to the rearfoot and she treats a wide variety of pathologies including patients with diabetes and the associated high-risk foot.
As a working mother, she appreciates the time restraints and delicate balance of family life. Sally believes in strong role models and is passionate about inspiring and nurturing new talent in her professions.
