Mr Rahij Anwar is a highly-qualified consultant orthopaedic and trauma surgeon with over 20 years of experience in various capacities. He has been a consultant for over 7 years. He provides private care in several clinics within London.
His sub-specialty is lower limb surgery and he has a particular specialist interest in hip and knee surgery. His wide range of expertise includes, but is not limited to, hip replacement, knee replacement, sports injuries and osteotomies. Among the numerous procedures he is highly skilled in are knee arthoscopy, ACL reconstruction and patellofemoral surgery.
Mr Anwar’s training took place in London before travelling to Sydney, Australia in 2013 to complete a knee and hip surgery fellowship. Not only does he commit to his field through highly professional and personalised patient care, he is also an avid researcher. His work has been published in several peer-reviewed journals and he has also authored books concerning orthopaedics. Furthermore, he has been a regular columnist for the BMA (British Medical Association) News Magazine for over 10 years.
