Miss Lucy Allen
Clinical Specialist Pelvic Health & Biofeedback Physiotherapist
I qualified as a Physiotherapist from the University of Birmingham in 2009. Since then I have worked across South Wales and Oxford before moving to London to work at St Marks Hospital in Harrow, specialising in Biofeedback and behavioural training for functional bowel disorders. I am currently studying a Masters in Psychology.
Coming from an experienced musculoskeletal background, I developed a passion for treating men and women with pelvic floor dysfunction. My enthusiasm for pelvic health has led to specialising in bowel, bladder and pelvic pain issues ranging from Constipation, Urinary Incontinence, Pelvic Girdle Pain to Sexual Dysfunction and Perineal Trauma. I am dedicated to helping my patients become confident in managing their symptoms and regaining control over issues that can greatly impact day to day life.
Alongside pelvic floor rehabilitation I am able to offer treatment courses of Posterior Tibial Nerve Stimulation (PTNS) and I am a qualified acupuncturist and a member of the Association of Pelvic Obstetric and Gynaecological Physiotherapists (POGP). I also offer Anorectal Physiology testing (Manometry) at the clinic.
