Dr Ravi Ratnavel

Dr Ravi Ratnavel graduated from Trinity College, Oxford University, prior to embarking upon clinical training at teaching hospitals attached to London and Cambridge Universities. He completed his training in Dermatology at St John’s Institute, London where he held the post of Clinical Tutor.
Dr Ratnavel worked in the past as a NHS Consultant at the Buckinghamshire Hospitals Trust and was Honorary Consultant at Oxford Radcliffe NHS Trust. He has been clinical lead for the provision of skin cancer treatment services in those regions.
In 1996, he was awarded a Doctorate of Medicine by Oxford University and received accreditation by the General Medical Council as a Specialist in Dermatology. He became Fellow of The Royal College of Physicians (FRCP) in 2001. He has written several clinical papers and authored textbook chapters.
