Our management team, led by Chief Executive Andrew Barker, are all healthcare experts and pride themselves on delivering excellent care for our staff and patients.
The team are responsible for the day to day running of the hospital and developing plans for its future expansion. Andrew is supported by six key heads of department, each with a specific brief to ensure that Phoenix Hospital Group delivers exceptional care.
Andrew Barker – Chief Executive Officer
Andrew has worked in healthcare for over 10 years and is committed to providing excellence in patient care and creating a great place for staff to work.
In his role at Phoenix Hospital Group Andrew looks after The Weymouth Street Hospital and 9 Harley Street, Imaging and Diagnostics Department.
Sandeep Madlani – Head of Finance (FCCA)
After graduating as a Chartered Certified Accountant, Sandeep moved into Private Healthcare and has not looked backed since – gaining invaluable experience at HCA and the London Clinic amongst others.
Having joined Phoenix in late 2015 – Sandeep feels very privileged to be able to contribute to a growing company where the environment is challenging and exciting, yet very personable at all levels.
Theo Luck – Director of Clinical Services – RN, RNC, BSC (Hons), BSC, Dip HE
Theo is dual qualified critical care nurse who has worked in many of London’s leading teaching hospital including Great Ormond Street, King’s College and Guy’s and St. Thomas’. As an operational manager Theo has built and led teams in the production industry and health care, most recently at The Whittington NHS Trust and the Harley Street Clinic where he managed Surgical Services.
At Phoenix Hospital Group Theo is responsible for the Weymouth Street Hospital.
Aleks McNee – Clinical Director- Outpatients and Diagnostics – (RGN, INP, BScN (Hons), BAppSc)
Aleksandra McNee, a Registered Nurse Prescriber has worked in Healthcare for over 15 years in both Australia and the United Kingdom. Having spent many years managing teams in the private Health Care sector, she has always maintained an active clinical role, ensuring high standards of clinical care and outcomes.
In her role at Phoenix Hospital Group, Aleks is the CQC Registered Manager of 9 Harley Street and responsible for all the Clinical Services in the Outpatient and Diagnostic Departments. She is passionate about promoting best practice and developing a culture of excellence
Michael Lendrum – Ward Manager -RGN
Michael is a Registered Nurse with specialist training in Burns and Plastic Surgery Nursing. He has extensive experience in both the NHS and more recently the Private Healthcare Sector. He has particular experience within the Cosmetic Surgery industry working alongside some of the UK’s top Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons.
Recent projects include the service development and commissioning of a new state of the art Private Outpatient Centre in North London and prior to this a new 18 bed Cosmetic Surgery Clinic in West London .
Michael is presently responsible for the day to day management of the inpatient nursing care within the Weymouth Street Hospital ensuring the standards of care delivery to our patients continue to place us at Number one for nursing within London’s Private Hospitals.

At Phoenix Hospital Group, we are committed to providing first-class clinical and nursing care. We employ dedicated, highly-trained staff at every level, to ensure that patients receive the best possible personal care and to make their stay with us as comfortable as possible.
At The Weymouth Street Hospital as well as our team of nursing staff, we have Resident Medical Officers (fully-qualified doctor) are available on-site, 24 hours a day and an in house Pharmacist.
A comprehensive Hotel Services team, including caterers, porters, and front of house staff, are there to help ensure your stay is as comfortable as possible.
At 9 Harley Street we have an expert team of Radiographers and specialist nurses to support our Consultant Clinics.
Staff Training and Professional Development
All clinical staff are professionally registered and undertake regular training, including basic and advanced life support, infection control, health and safety and customer care. In addition, staff undertake numerous post-graduate educational courses to ensure that patients benefit from the latest advances in clinical care.
